I started selling Real Estate in Central Oregon in 1993, working in Redmond for Golden Eagle Realty. It was an excellent place for me to start my career as it allowed me the opportunity to sell in a lot of different markets. I sold small lots to a 2,000 acre ranch, from commercial to industrial parcels, and from small starter homes to dream homes. In 1998 I moved to Coldwell Banker Mayfield and have never regretted that move. The population in Redmond has skyrocketed since 1993. My cliental base has grown substantially with just word of mouth. All I ask of people is to be honest with me. My word is my bond. I wish we could go back to the days when all you needed to do business was a hand shake. Prior to starting my real estate career I worked in Data Processing/Computer Operations. I started in that field while I was in the Navy in 1966 and continued in that field until I left PGE, in Portland, in 1992 as the Computer Operations Manager.

I have been married to Linda since 1982 and we have 4 children who are all grown. Our oldest son, Edward, lives in Alaska. The next one, Lorne, is going to college as an Agriculture Major at Linn-Benton with plans to attend Oregon State next term. The last and youngest son, Trey, is an Army National Guard combat medic. He is going to COCC and wants to become a doctor. Our one and only daughter, Kelsey, has graduated from Oregon with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. She will be teaching in Salem.

We made the move to Central Oregon for the life style change and have thoroughly embraced it. What a great place to raise a family.
